Bambu Labs P1P 3D printer Enclosure Kit - Preorder Allocation

We are building kits and are have set up a video Walkthrough of the enclosure. By shear accident, we came across a favorite panel mod with Orange, amber panels that looked too cool not to offer. If  you have an existing order you can add orange panels here.

Additionally, this week we dialed a design to make the AMS system compatible with our enclosure. If you are familiar, you will see that the AMS supports designed by bambu fit inside the frame of the P1P making a lid useless. Our remix of the AMS supports make our enclosure compatible with the AMS.

A lot of people have asked what is included with the kit. We have set this up to include panels, hardware to attach panels and 3D printed parts to the frame, and STLs for you to print at home.

Neil here from Clearview and I want to thank all the great Bambu users for working with us on this preorder.
We have sold out of our 2nd preorder allocation and the 3rd allocation is scheduled to ship by 3-3-23. The good news is we've been ahead of schedule so we'll ship early if at all possible.
The design of the Bambu P1P enclosure is complete. We are cutting panels, setting up STL files for easy printing, and getting kit ready for shipment.

Some added detail on what you are getting, what you need, and where this is going.
The kit you receive includes 1/8" thick panels (Acrylic or Polycarbonate), hardware to attach the printed parts and panels, and STLs for you to print a portion of the parts. (framing parts, hinges, and modified AMS holder).

The parts you need to print are framing parts, hinges, and modified AMS holder. All are printable on the P1P and we have set these files up to to be primed for a successful 3d print. All parts should be printed with PETG or better filament. PLA is okay if you are only printing on a cold bed. For assembly you will need a Philips screw driver, 2.5mm allen wrench, 3mm allen wrench, and a small amount of rubber cement or super glue to place a few magnets. Last, we recommend using a cable chain for the Bowden tube and extruder wire to prevent it from rubbing on the top panel. There are a few options out there, we recommend the printable version found on pintables

With the P1P enclosure we have set this up for future improvement. On the rear panel we included a cutout for an air filter that we plan to have available this summer. Additionally, we wanted this unit to be compatible with the AMS system. Bambu has published a holder for the AMS that will be needed to support the unit, but they designed it so that a top won't work with it :/. We've modified this part to work with our enclosure.

We have worked immensely hard to ensure this enclosure will work great for our users. We've had to make a few changes to plans along the way and we're appreciative that the Bambu user scene has worked with us to adapt to the the improvements we've made. We believe in the Bambu brand and we are here to keep improving the P1P enclosure for the future.

UPDATE ***01-3-23***

We have sold out of the initial allocation of preorders and the next allocation estimated ship date will be 2-15-23. In effort to offer an affordable option we added a light duty option.

  • The acrylic set is scratch resistance and is overall a more rigid material.
  • The option for Polycarbonate is that polycarbonate is known as the "bullet proof material". While testing that on your printer isn't suggested, know that polycarbonate is advantageous because it is optically clear like acrylic, is super durable, and has a higher service temperature for printing advanced filaments in a warm enclosure.

Again, summarizing the plan below, This uses a parts kit derived from the Bambu armor modplate panels with our own modifications for a better view and functionality. This addition will allow for a air filter and more window area for a better view.  We initially planned to use the Armor modplate, but decided there were necessary changes to get the right fitment.

The modified armor allows our drop in hinges to be used for easy door function. The kit includes acrylic panels, mounting hardware, and STLs for printed parts.

The Bambu P1P has landed and we already have the enclosure designed. Our BAMBU P1P enclosure is a great fit and won't break the bank. Sporting Optically clear acrylic panels on the top, sides, and front door. Our kit comes the panels, hardware, and super easy to easy to print STLs that you print at home. This kit assumes you have already printed and are using one of Bambu's modplates. With the Pixel or Pegboard Modplate, you only need the door and lid option. If you are using the Armor Modplate we also offer side panels to cover the side openings. The best news, is that none of these panels require hard mods. You'll just need to turn a few screws. This kit also comes with a bowden tube insert so that you can feed your bowden tube directly through the back of the metal frame. Going forward we need some time to start production so estimated ship date will be January 20th.

We are planning a few options to cover your Bamboo P1P. First, users can print their own side panels so we will offer a low cost option to complete the enclosure with a door. Next we will add in Clear side panels for unimpeded viewing and and better heat retention. Last, our enclosure option will be compatible with our range of accessories like our Hepa+Carbon Filter, our LED light strips, and our chamber heater. These accessories are essential for a Healthier, Cleaner, and better printing environment. 

Here is the plan. We tailor fit our enclosures for each printer so we need the P1P in hand. Once units ship we will take 30 days to design and compile our accessories for the printer. We plan on getting to work approximately January 10th. That would mean our finalized products will ship on February 10th. Sooner if at all possible. Final prices and options will be availble by February 1st.

More About the Clearview Infinity Enclosure

Our main objective was to give your printer an unobstructed view from any angle. At the same time, our enclosures offer easy access with a magnetically latched front door and a cable port to route all your connections. Last, the side access door is perfectly placed to access the USB port and power switches.

We also have adapted options for our Carbon Air Scrubbing filter and vibration dampening feet. Both do as they suggest. The Carbon Air Scrubbing Filter uses a silent fan to pass air through a carbon filter to reduce fumes created from the 3D printing process. Especially if you are printing ABS, you will want to include the filter option. Our Vibration Dampening Feet use a multi material lamination that dissipates vibrations at 5 different levels. What is your return Policy?

We have a 30 day return policy. Unused, undamaged panels that still have the masking fully attached are eligible for a full refund less return shipping. If panels are damaged (after shipment) or the protective mask layer has been removed, we cannot offer a refund. For best results in ensuring fitment and to ensure you like the setup of our enclosures consider at least partially assembling with the mask on. If you find out it isn't for you, this allows to get the return for a full refund.

There are some differences between your product pictures. 

We update these often and as a small business it isn't realistic to do a fresh photoshoot for every iteration. In general function is always constant or better as we improve things. For the clearest indication of our current version, please rely on the renderings rather than the photos.
