Start by searching the site for your printer model. If there's a listing for it, that's your enclosure. If there isn't, the type of machine decides it.
I can't find an enclosure for my exact printer. What fits?
First, search clearviewplastic.com for your printer model — most popular printers have a tailored enclosure. If there's no model-specific listing, the fit comes down to one question: is your printer a bedslinger (the bed moves front to back) or a CoreXY (the bed moves up and down, the head moves in X and Y)?
Bedslinger → the Clearview Utility Universal enclosure, in the size that matches your build volume. Starting price and size options are on the page.
CoreXY up to about 270 mm build size → the Bambu X2-based CoreXY enclosure.
CoreXY with a 300 mm to 360 mm build volume → the CoreXY XL size, sold on the Bambu H2, Creality K2 Plus, and Anycubic Kobra S1 Max listings.
Which Utility Universal size do I need?
The Utility Universal comes in Medium, Large, and XL. The product page lists the interior dimensions for each size and the printers known to fit. Measure your printer's overall footprint, including the spool holder and cables, and allow extra room on every side. As a guide:
XL — the size we build for the 300 mm class bedslingers: Anycubic Kobra Plus / 2 Plus / 3 Plus, Elegoo Neptune 3 / 4 Plus, Creality Ender 3 S1 Plus, CR-10 Smart / Pro / SE, Sovol SV06 Plus and SV07 Plus, Artillery Sidewinder
Which panel material should I choose?
Base panels are 1/4" white PVC sides with a clear acrylic front. Commercial-grade clear or smoked acrylic are upgrades. For high-temperature printing — chamber temperatures above 60°C, ABS, ASA, nylon, polycarbonate filaments — choose the Heavy Duty polycarbonate panels; polycarbonate is the better material for printing high temp. Acrylic is fine for PLA-only printing.
Can you make a custom enclosure for my machine?
If a standard enclosure fits, that's the faster and better-value answer, and we'll tell you which one. For machines that don't fit any standard size, we build custom enclosures to order — send the machine model and what you want the enclosure to do (fume extraction, laser safety, temperature) and we'll quote it.
