Clearview's injection molding machine enclosures are designed for a healthier, safer, and improved molding environment. The APSX-PIM V3 is America's favorite desktop injection molding machine — a fully automatic horizontal press that melts engineering plastics at up to 330ºC, cycle after cycle. Automatic 60-second cycles mean continuous fume generation, and our enclosure captures those fumes at the source and exhausts them outside through the 4″ exhaust port. Sized for the APSX-PIM V3

The V3's horizontal layout needs width, not height: at 42.9″ long and 250 lbs, it lives on a 4-foot bench. Our 48″ wide cabinet wraps the full machine with clearance at both ends, and the front door gives you direct access to the clamp and mold area for mold changes and part retrieval. If you run the optional APSX stand, ask us about a floor-format version.

More About the Clearview Enclosure

Our main objective was to give your machine an unobstructed view from any angle while containing fumes at the source. An enclosure captures fumes where they're made and sends them outside, instead of scrubbing them after they've spread through your shop.

We also have options for our Carbon Air Scrubbing Filter and vibration dampening feet. The Carbon Air Scrubbing Filter uses a silent fan to pass air through a carbon filter to reduce fumes for shops that can't duct outside. Our Vibration Dampening Feet use a multi-material lamination that dissipates vibrations at 5 different levels.

We offer a black/white color option for the brackets and fittings. With your purchase, we also offer STL access to these files so you can print fittings in the colors you want. ADDITIONALLY, you get STL files of future attachments and accessories for your enclosure. If we come up with a mod, you get access to it for free!

FAQ

Will the APSX-PIM V3 fit?

Yes. The V3 measures 42.9″ x 9.8″ x 15″ (109 x 25 x 38 cm) and our 48″ x 20″ x 24″ cabinet houses it with clearance on every side. The kit assembles around your machine — no lifting the 250 lb press through a door.

Does the enclosure interfere with automatic operation?

No. The V3 is all-electric with no compressed air or hydraulics — only the power cable passes through the grommet, and the machine runs its automatic cycles fully enclosed while you watch through the clear panels.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30 day return policy. Unused, undamaged panels that still have the masking fully attached are eligible for a full refund less return shipping. If panels are damaged (after shipment) or the protective mask layer has been removed, we cannot offer a refund. For best results in ensuring fitment, consider at least partially assembling with the mask on.
