Enclosure Delivered Assembled & Tested — Freight, USA

Your enclosure arrives built, squared, and tested — on a pallet, at your door. We assemble it here in the shop, check the door alignment and function, run the add-ons you ordered, then palletize it for freight. What's left on your end takes minutes rather than an afternoon.

This is an add-on to an enclosure order, not a standalone product. Add it to the enclosure you're configuring.

What we do before it ships

• Assemble it properly. Panels squared, doors hung and aligned, hardware set to the right tension. Door fit and function is the part that rewards doing it on a bench with the right tools, and it's the part most people would rather not fight with.
• Test the add-ons you ordered. Filters, fans, lighting, door sensors — wired, checked, and left in a state where you can run with minimal setup.
• Pack it for the road. Palletized, wrapped, and protected for freight transit.

The few steps left for you

• Door handles. They ship in the box and attach in a moment. We leave them off on purpose so they don't snag or take an impact in transit.
• Getting the machine in. Most enclosures let you lift the printer in through the door. Some enclosure and machine combinations need a panel removed first — usually about a ten minute job. If that applies to your build, we'll tell you before it ships rather than letting you find out on the pallet.
• Parts you may not reuse. Some machine accessories, spool holders most often, aren't intended to be used with the enclosure. Where that's true it's noted on the enclosure's own product page.

How the freight delivery works

• Palletized, insured, lift gate, appointment delivery. The carrier calls to schedule, and the lift gate brings the pallet down to ground level.
• The driver's obligation ends at the back of the truck. Freight is not parcel delivery — the driver is not required to bring it inside or set it in place. Once it's on the ground it's yours to move. In practice the pallet and the enclosure are usually a reasonable one or two person job to walk into position.
• If you do have specific delivery instructions please reach out to us so we can communicate that with the freight carrier. Additional access restrictions, inside delivery, or other factors could increase the freight cost. 
• USA delivery only, with the freight rate calculated automatically at checkout.

What freight actually costs

We'd rather you see the number here than discover it at checkout. Freight for an assembled enclosure typically lands between $750 and $950, covering palletization and delivery. That is in addition to the assembly charge on this page.

Freight pricing moves differently than express parcel. If the actual freight cost comes in meaningfully above the rate built into checkout — which is rare — we may need to collect the difference. If that happens, you'll hear from us early in the process, not after the fact.

Lead time

15 business days or less, rather than the 10 business days or less for a flat-packed kit. The extra time is the assembly and test bench work.

Shipping outside the USA

We do ship assembled units internationally, but the freight has to be quoted by hand rather than calculated at checkout. Start with a quote:

1. Configure your enclosure with the options you want and add it to the cart.
2. On the cart page, click Request quote for Purchase Order.
3. We'll reply with a final shipping quote and a link to complete the purchase whenever you're ready.

International assembled shipments go DAP, duties excluded — import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.

If you'd rather build it yourself

The flat-packed kit ships faster, costs less to deliver, and goes together with a screwdriver and an Allen key in about 60 to 90 minutes. Assembly is here for the people who would rather spend that time running the machine, or who need the crate to arrive ready for someone else to sign off on. Both are good answers.
