The Flashforge Creator 5 puts four independent toolheads on a CoreXY frame and prints multi-material without purge waste. The Creator 5 Pro adds a heated chamber and an onboard filter. Either way, you have a machine that is constantly changing tools, running fast, and putting whatever it melts into the room it sits in. The Clearview Creator 5 External Enclosure V2 is the bolt-on panel kit cut for this exact machine, in both versions.

If you run the Creator 5 (open frame): drafts and room temperature swings reach the print directly. Corners lift, layers split on ABS and ASA, and every toolhead swap cools the part a little more. The enclosure holds chamber heat, blocks drafts, cuts noise, and contains what comes off the plate so a filter or exhaust can deal with it.

If you run the Creator 5 Pro (enclosed): the printer's shell does one job well, which is holding heat. It was not built to hold air. Seams, the door, the cable pass, and the filter outlet itself are all paths into the room. The stock filter treats the air that happens to pass through it; it does nothing for the air that leaves everywhere else, and a 30-hour run of carbon-filled nylon at 300°C puts a lot of air through those paths. The external enclosure adds a second volume around the machine. The printer manages heat; the enclosure manages air. Two jobs, two parts.

Enclosure dimensions are tailor fit to the machine at 24" Wide x 23.5" Deep x 31.5" Tall and include generously sized 19" doors on the left and right panel.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The Creator 5 External Enclosure V2 is sized to fit the printer alone, with room to work. It contains and concentrates fumes and particulates so a filter or exhaust can do its job, which is what makes it the right setup for a garage, a classroom, or a home with kids. Access is through the frame-less front door and top hatch, plus the side doors.

Air Quality and Ventilation:

The enclosure's job is to contain and concentrate what comes off the machine. The filter or exhaust does the mitigating. Two parts, working together.

• Air Filtration Options:
  • Exhaust Filter with charcoal and HEPA media, moving air out of your workspace. Reduces fumes and smells.
  • Recirculating Filter to keep chamber heat while reducing fumes and smells.
  • Intake Filter so incoming air passes through a filter on the way in.
• Ventilation Accessories:
  • Exhaust Fan with an easy-to-install housing for a 4" hose, paired with our Window Insert for direct outdoor venting.

More About the Clearview Infinity Enclosure

Our main objective was to give your printer an unobstructed view from any angle. At the same time, our enclosures offer easy access with a magnetically latched front door and a cable port to route all your connections. The side access doors are placed to reach the USB port and power switch.

We also offer our Carbon Air Scrubbing filter and vibration dampening feet. The Carbon Air Scrubbing Filter uses a quiet fan to pass air through a carbon filter to reduce fumes and smells from the printing process. If you are printing ABS or ASA, include the filter option. Our Vibration Dampening Feet use a multi-material lamination that dissipates vibration at 5 different levels. If you are printing where noise needs to come down, this is the addition to make.

We offer a black or Prusa Orange color option for the brackets and fittings. With your purchase, you also get STL access to these files so you can print the fittings in the colors you want. If you've had problems with parts adhering to the print bed, warping, smell, noise, or dust, an enclosure is the answer.

3D printing is productive, but there are nuisance factors:
- It can be loud if you are printing at home.
- Drafts of air or changes in temperature lead to warping, print issues, and poor adhesion to the print surface.
- You are working with molten plastics that release VOCs and ultrafine particles into the air. Off-gassing happens at some level with every filament; the question is how much of it you want to manage.

This enclosure kit includes all the parts you need to assemble (plan on 60–120 minutes, instructions provided) and works with your existing Flashforge Creator 5 or Creator 5 Pro. The front door provides generous room to reach the print bed and the control panel. We include a rubber grommet to pass your power cable and USB into the enclosure, plus PETG parts and hardware for final assembly.

FAQ

Does this fit both the Creator 5 and the Creator 5 Pro?

Yes. Both machines share the same footprint and the same kit fits either one.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30 day return policy. Unused, undamaged panels that still have the masking fully attached are eligible for a full refund less return shipping. If panels are damaged after shipment or the protective mask layer has been removed, we cannot offer a refund. To check fitment and make sure you like the setup, consider at least partially assembling with the mask on. If it isn't for you, that lets you return it for a full refund.

Why would I order Polycarbonate vs. Acrylic?

Panel choice is the only feature on our enclosures that you can't change after the fact. First things first, 1/4" is the best upgrade we offer. If you get nothing else, get 1/4" panels before upgrading anything else. Polycarbonate is impact resistant, while acrylic is scratch resistant and the better-looking panel. Acrylic is what most of our customers run, including on ABS, ASA, and PC. Polycarbonate is for shop environments where impact resistance matters or where you plan to push chamber heat well beyond what a hobby setup sees.

Why would I go for a Recirculating Filter vs an Intake / Exhaust setup?
It depends on the filaments you plan to print. For PLA and PETG, we recommend the Intake and Exhaust filters. This lets you dial in enclosure temperature and vent outside with a 4" exhaust hose. For higher-temp filaments (ASA, ABS, and above), the Recirculating filter keeps chamber temperature high while reducing fumes and smells with activated charcoal and HEPA media. Exhaust needs a window and is bulkier; recirculating is streamlined but is not a complete fix on odor with heavy high-temp use.

We update these often, and as a small business it isn't realistic to do a fresh photoshoot for every iteration. Function is always constant or better as we improve things. For the clearest indication of our current version, rely on the renderings rather than the photos.
