The Snapmaker U1 is a four-toolhead FDM printer with a five-second toolchanger and a 270 × 270 × 270 mm build volume. Its safety profile is not the same as a single-extruder machine: four independently heated hotends, four filament paths, and heavy purge cycling mean more material in motion, more thermal mass, and a higher emission rate per print than a comparable single-toolhead printer. This document set is written for that specific machine.

Complete the setup — add the Snapmaker U1 enclosure
These documents describe the controls; the enclosure is what physically delivers them. The Clearview Snapmaker U1 External Enclosure contains fumes and particulate and carries them to an exhaust port or filter, holds chamber heat for engineering filaments, and keeps hands away from hot and moving parts.
