Clearview Plastics · Creality K3 External Enclosure
The Creality K3 is a four-nozzle, KliTek nozzle-changing printer with a 260 × 260 × 260 mm build volume, and it ships with an open-top frame. Creality's optional top cover holds some heat, but it doesn't give the fumes and ultrafine particulate from four hot nozzles anywhere to go but the room.
The Clearview enclosure sets over the whole machine with height to spare for the top cover and filament tubes, and gives it a defined space with filter ports and an exhaust path. It's the same tall enclosure we build for the Snapmaker U1, with 19″ doors on both sides for side access. A bolt-on panel kit, CNC-routed in California, and no modification to the printer.

Four reasons to enclose it
Printer, spools and cables sit in one enclosed unit instead of spreading across a bench. Clear panels, cables routed through grommets, and doors that open where you work. It reads as professional equipment, in an office, a lab, or a room at home other people use.
Every filament gives off fumes and ultrafine particulate at some level, PLA included, and an open-top K3 puts all of it straight into the room. The enclosure contains it, so a filter can reduce it or an exhaust run can carry it outside.
Multi-material and engineering filaments are where a steady chamber pays off. The enclosure holds heat and blocks drafts so ABS, ASA and other engineering materials print without warping or splitting, and it keeps dust off the plate and away from the nozzle modules.
Panels on every side take the edge off fan and motion noise, so a long print doesn't take over the room. Add the vibration dampening feet to cut the ringing that travels through the bench.
A sealed box with nothing moving the air just stores fumes until you open it, then releases them into the room all at once. That's why these enclosures aren't gasketed. The filter or exhaust keeps air moving through the enclosure the whole time, so the air inside is being treated, not saved up for the moment the door opens.
Who it's built for
Production runs, client work and prototypes, where a failed print costs more than the filament.
Employees in a shared workspace, students in a lab, or your family in the next room.
A lab or clean space that can't take in what a printer puts out, or a dusty shop the printer needs protecting from.
Fortune 500 companies, government labs and top universities run Clearview enclosures. So do physicians, attorneys, executives and senior engineers.
If your shop, school or lab answers to a safety review, the five-document FDM 3D Printer Safety Documentation Pack is written for exactly that conversation. See a sample first (PDF, no email required).
The Creality K3 External Enclosure by Clearview Plastics puts a finished, controlled space around Creality's four-nozzle KliTek printer. It's built on our tall tool-changer enclosure, the same kit we make for the Snapmaker U1, for a cleaner, healthier and better-performing print environment.
Photos on this page are reference photos of the same enclosure on a Snapmaker U1. The K3 enclosure is the same kit.
Suggested enclosure size: 24" Wide × 23.5" Deep × 31.5" Tall, with generously sized 19" doors on the left and right panels. Creality lists the K3 at 420 × 482 × 536 mm (16.5" × 19.0" × 21.1") and 22 kg. The extra height leaves room for the optional top cover and for filament tubes arching up to the nozzle modules.
Will it fit your table?
| Enclosure (W × D × H) | Min. table top (W × D) | Min. load rating |
|---|---|---|
| 24″ × 23.5″ × 31.5″ 610 × 597 × 800 mm |
26″ × 25.5″ | 120 lb |
The K3 keeps four nozzle modules loaded with their own filament, so more tubes run to the toolhead than on a single-nozzle printer. The tall top leaves those tubes their natural arc, the 19" side doors give access without lifting anything off, and the front door and top hatch open with no frame between them for full access to the plate.

Coming soon. Once fit is confirmed on the printer, kits ship flat-packed within our standard 10 business days.
CNC-routed in Rocklin, California by a small, owner-run shop. Every enclosure carries a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Every printed part is in the file repository you get after ordering, including future add-ons and mods: if one breaks or gets revised, print a new one.

Why would I order polycarbonate vs. acrylic?
Panel choice is the only feature you can't change after the fact. 1/4" is the best upgrade we offer; if you change nothing else, change that. Polycarbonate is impact resistant, acrylic is scratch resistant. Acrylic handles almost every filament, including ABS, ASA and PC. Polycarbonate is only needed where you hold a chamber above 60 °C.
Why would I pick a recirculating filter over an intake / exhaust setup?
It depends on what you print. For PLA and PETG, intake and exhaust lets you set the chamber temperature and vent fumes straight outside through a 4" hose. For ABS, ASA and other high-temperature filaments, the recirculating filter keeps fumes and odor down with activated charcoal and HEPA while holding chamber heat.
What is your return policy?
30 days. Unused, undamaged panels with the protective masking fully attached are eligible for a full refund, less return shipping. If panels are damaged after shipment or the masking has been removed, we can't offer a refund. To check fit and finish before you commit, assemble with the masking still on.
Why do the photos differ a little from each other?
We improve these kits continuously, and the renders are updated before the photos are. Function stays the same or gets better. For the clearest picture of the current version, go by the renders.
