Marking metal puts soot and fine particulate into the air, and a Class 4 marker deserves better siting than the corner of a desk shared with paperwork. The enclosure contains the beam, the glare, and the fumes — at which point everything it contains needs a planned way out of the room.

The 4-inch exhaust run to a window or a filter, the slack for the umbilical to the controller, the clearance to load stock without dragging a hose — those are workstation decisions. Get them wrong and the containment you paid for leaks at the edges of the setup instead of the enclosure.

Treat the extraction path as part of the machine and the rest of the room stays out of the process. That's what this base is for.

Cut to your enclosure. Not to a category.

The top extends exactly half an inch past the enclosure on every side. Enough overhang to level, latch, and grip. Not so much that you've bought a piece of furniture you have to find room for.

• Medium — 16.75" × 24.75" top, 32" height. Fits the Medium enclosure at 15.75 × 23.75 × 27.5 in.
• Large — 19" × 30.5" top, 32" height. Fits the Large enclosure at 18 × 29.5 × 30.5 in.
• XL / XL+ — 22.5" × 30.5" top, 32" height. Fits both the XL (34") and XL+ (38.25") enclosures — they share one footprint at 21.5 × 29.5 in, so one table serves either.

The 32-inch height puts the marking field and focus column at standing work height, where fixturing and focusing actually happen.

Built on 40-series black aluminum extrusion with cast corner brackets and M8 hardware — the same structural system used for CNC machine frames and industrial workstations. The top is 3/4″ melamine: flat, sealed, wipes clean, and won't telegraph a heat cycle the way a raw wood top will.

Rated for what's actually on it

A galvo marker, its controller, and the enclosure around them sit still — the marking head doesn't. This frame is specified for a 100 lb working load with margin for motion — because the number that matters isn't what the table holds sitting still, it's what it holds while a marking head throws mass around on top of it.

Four leveling feet handle a floor that isn't as flat as you think it is. A base that shifts under a marking head is a base that blurs an edge.

The air you're standing in

Full treatment here, because it's earned: laser marking releases particulate and VOCs that belong outside the room, not in it. The open frame gives the 4-inch run a straight shot from the enclosure's rear adapter to a window kit or a filtration unit, the T-slots manage the umbilical and interlock wiring, and nothing under the enclosure blocks the intake side. The enclosure concentrates the emissions; the bench is what makes them leave.

Optional: locking enclosed compartment

Add a fully enclosed mid-shelf with clear acrylic panels and a cam lock. Filament, dryers, nozzles, tools, and spares stay visible, dust-free, and secured.

Your galvo marker will not be your last machine. Every surface of this frame is a mounting rail. Re-drop the T-nuts, move a rail, add a shelf, hang a spool holder, bolt on a monitor arm, restretch it for the next machine. It reconfigures because it was designed to be reconfigured.

Every extrusion arrives cut to final length, deburred, and labeled, with the leg bores already tapped for the feet. The top and shelf come CNC-cut with the mounting holes counterbored. Brackets, T-nuts, and hardware are counted and bagged by step. Flat-pack keeps the freight sane and keeps the price honest — you're paying for aluminum and precision, not for air in a box.
