Clearview builds a tailored enclosure for most popular desktop printers, plus universal sizes for everything else. Prices below are the starting price on the product page as of the date above; the page is always the source of truth for current pricing, dimensions, and options.
Do you have an enclosure for my Bambu Lab printer?
Yes, for the whole current line:
- X1C / P1S / P1P: External Enclosure V2, starting at $369. Tall version fits the AMS on top; otherwise the AMS sits to the side.
- X2D / P2S / P2P: External Enclosure V4, starting at $399. Bottom panel included.
- H2S / H2C / H2D / H2D Pro: H2 Series External Enclosure, starting at $569, with Standard, Tall, and Tall XXL sizes (XXL takes a side spool holder).
- A1: A1 Enclosure Kit, starting at $369, or the A1 entry-level starter kit at $189.89.
- A1 Mini: A1 Mini entry-level starter kit, $189.89.
- A2: A2 Enclosure Kit, starting at $449. A2L: A2L Enclosure Kit, starting at $330.
For workplaces that need a gasket-sealed enclosure, the WorkSafe IP54 line covers the X1C/P1, X2D/P2S, and H2 series; see the WorkSafe question below.
Can I run the AMS with the enclosure?
Yes. On the X1C/P1 and X2D/P2S enclosures, choose the Tall version to put the AMS on top, or the Standard version with the AMS to the side. On the A1 and A1 Mini, the AMS Lite sits outside the enclosure, on top or to the side, with filament fed through — the entry-level panels aren't built to carry its weight. The AMS 2 sits to the side of the A1 enclosure. An AMS Lite cable extension kit ($16) covers the extra reach.

My printer isn't listed. What are my options?
Three paths, in order:
- Search the site for your model — new listings go up regularly.
- Use a universal size. Bedslingers fit the Utility Universal line (starting at $292) or the XL Universal Infinity (starting at $369); the Universal XXL (starting at $875) covers large-format machines. CoreXY printers up to about 270 mm use the X2-based CoreXY size; 300 to 360 mm CoreXY machines use the CoreXY XL size on the H2, K2 Plus, or Kobra S1 Max listings.
- Custom. For machines that don't fit any standard size, send the model and what the enclosure needs to do and we'll quote a custom build.
What's the difference between the entry-level starter kit and the full enclosure kit?
The entry-level starter kits (about $190) are the basic enclosure for a printer, with the air filter available as the Pro Pack add-on at checkout. The full kits are the complete system: thicker panel options, the printed-parts kit option, multiple filter combinations, a 6th base panel, HD hardware, LED lighting, and the other add-ons configured on the page. If you plan to print ABS, ASA, or other high-temp materials, or want filtration options, start with the full kit.
What is the WorkSafe IP54 enclosure?
The WorkSafe line is a gasket-sealed enclosure built for workplaces — schools, labs, and production floors that need a sealed, compliance-oriented enclosure rather than a hobby kit. It's available for the Bambu X1C/P1, X2D/P2S, and H2 series and the Creality K2/K2 Plus, starting at $4,950; the H2 WorkSafe page has the full specification. Pair it with the Safety Certified Compliance Bundle for the documentation side.
Will an enclosure overheat my printer's electronics?
Clearview enclosures have been in use on thousands of printers, including fully enclosed Bambu, Creality, and Prusa machines, without the driver or electronics failures people sometimes worry about. Printers that need cooler electronics (the A1 line, for example) get a cool-air infeed on the full kit, and every enclosure has adjustable vents and exhaust ports so you control the chamber temperature.
